Do you offer discounts or loyalty programs?
How do you handle dogs with behavioural challenges or special needs?
We conduct a temperament assessment for all new clients and customize our care to accommodate any special needs or behavioural challenges. Our team is trained to provide individualized attention to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable.

Indoor Care
What is the daily schedule for daycare?
Our indoor daycare operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM, weekends & holidays from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Dogs participate in structured play, rest, and enrichment activities throughout the day, with a final drop-off by 2:00 PM.
What is the process for new clients?
New clients fill out a brief questionnaire and service agreement, followed by a 30–45 minute private assessment. This process helps us understand your dog’s needs and ensures a safe, comfortable transition into our care.
What vaccinations and health requirements are needed?
All dogs must be current on core vaccinations and on an active parasite prevention program. Proof of vaccination is required at enrollment, and we reserve the right to request additional health documentation if needed.

Lobo Land
What is Lobo Land?
Lobo Land is our private, fully fenced, two-acre outdoor adventure park where dogs can run, dig, sniff, and explore safely. It’s available as an add-on to our daycare service or as a standalone outdoor session.
Are there any special requirements for outdoor adventures?
Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and pass a temperament assessment to participate in Lobo Land. Trained staff supervise every session to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
How can I add Lobo Land to my dog’s daycare package?
You can select Lobo Land as an add-on during the daycare booking process through our online portal. Package discounts are available for multi-session purchases.

Grooming
What grooming services do you offer?
We provide full-service grooming including baths, brush-outs, de-shedding treatments, breed-specific styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and more. Our services are tailored to your dog’s specific coat and care needs.
How does the one-on-one grooming process work?
Our groomers work with one dog at a time, ensuring personalized attention throughout the entire appointment. This approach minimizes stress and shortens the overall grooming time by eliminating the use of cage dryers.
What should I know about the Puppy Packages?
Our Puppy Packages are designed to gently introduce young pups to the grooming process. Sometimes, if needed, a full groom is spread over multiple sessions to help your puppy build confidence and remain calm.

Boarding
What does boarding include?
Boarding at Ruffin’ It provides a 24/7 home-away-from-home experience. Your dog will enjoy personalized care, engaging activities, and a comfortable suite complete with soothing amenities like soft bedding and aromatherapy.
What should I pack for my dog during their stay?
Bring familiar items that help your dog feel at home—such as their bed or blanket, favourite toys, food, treats, and any necessary medications. Including their own dishes is also a good idea.
What is the trial night assessment process?
All new boarders undergo a trial night assessment, billed at the standard rate. This helps us ensure your dog is comfortable with our environment before committing to a longer stay.
What are the cancellation policies?
If you cancel 30 days or more before your stay, you’ll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 14 days are eligible for a 25% refund, while cancellations under 14 days are non-refundable. Please review our full policy for further details.
